sharpen your identity then attack your market
The first step is distilling your brand into somethingclearly and easily communicated.
How do you differ from your competition? If you had to define your brand with five words, what would they be? The goal isn't the pursuit of cliched questions, but to strip away the generic, forgettable adjectives to increase visibility in a crowd.
Never compromise on product or service quality, but don't ignore the power of branding.
Create a logo that is both relevant and memorable. Put it in front of people. Customers often make decisions based on emotion. At the very least, an appealing brand may help sway an indecisive customer.
Communicate with your customers. Social Media works both ways.
Keep your message sincere: people are becoming increasingly aware that they are being deceived by media and advertising.
Create an online presence That reflects your passion.
It's all about identifying what makes your product or service unique and then distilling that into a concise and powerful message. Pair it with consistent and impactful imagery to create an undeniable online identy.
Modern design is about empathy: understanding and anticipating the needs of your audience.
Making navigation and use intuitive and natural. Good UX/UI design puts information exactly where your audience would look for it instead of imposing structure and restricting access.
Attention spans are short so efficiency and accuracy are paramount.
Audiences appreciate originality and honesty. Don't be afraid to break away from the crowd.
Commit to your ideas and let your advertising reflect your passion and talent. If you believe you can offer something special, the best way to convey that is advertising that is undeniable.
An idea is only as strong as the words chosen to express it.
You may be the most eloquent, charismatic avatar for your brand, but you can't be everywhere all of the time. At some point, you are going to have to let your words represent you to audiences you never get to persuade in person.
Your brand should embody the virtues of your idea, and your logo should illustrate them
Logos and branding should inspire and reinforce your message. As much as possible, they should reflect the core values that make your idea unique.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Vancouver BC, I was introduced to the internet as a design space while working as a copyw riter for CART.com and playersracing.com, the official websites for Championship Auto Racing Teams and Players' / Forsythe Racing.
I took this experience and found a niche market in Vancouver nightlife industry: pending several years designing and maintaining websites and marketing material for most of the clubs in the city ( 2005-2015)
I am semi-retired and living in Victoria BC, my time divided between a few maintenance contracts for long-standing clients. I still design flyers for community events and business cards for friends etc.
I pay attention to local and national politics but have not yet gone so far as to involve myself. I am also interested in the incredible potential that artificial intelligence represents if wielded responsibly.
Whatever the future holds, it will happen quickly and dramatically.
